Ministry is truly in the DNA for Pastor Brett and Mollie. They both come from Pastor’s homes and met while they were pursuing their calling at Lee University. They married in in 1992 and began their full time ministry calling shortly thereafter. Pastor Brett served in a dual role of Youth and Music Pastor for the first 10 years of his ministry. Mollie has been his faithful companion in this call while also serving as an Elementary school teacher.

Brett and Mollie stepped into the position of Lead Pastor in 2002 at the Pitts Church of God. They served in that position for over four years and saw God do some incredible things both in the Church and Wilcox County community. It was during this time where God put into Pastor Brett’s heart a passion for training young ministers and church impact in a small community. These two passions have carried over into the ministry emphasis in his current role of ministry.

For the last 15 plus years, Brett and Mollie has been the Lead Pastors of Azalea City. In this time, multiple buildings have been built, ministries have been developed and ministers have been raised up. Vision casting, leadership development and teaching the Word is where Pastor Brett spends the majority of his time while Mollie passionately pours herself into the women’s ministry of the Church.

Pastor Brett enjoys sports, fishing and building. He is an absolute fanatic for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He also serves as the Chaplain for the Lowndes County football team. Mollie loves the beach, swimming and binge watching good TV shows with her family. Mollie and Brett are blessed with a beautiful and amazing family. Aaron and Caitlin serve as Youth Pastors at the Bainbridge Church of God. Blaire and Hunner serve as the Worship Pastors at Azalea City’s satellite campus in Ray City. Chloe is a senior and is very active in dance and the worship and youth ministries at the Church. Their two granddaughters, Nova Grace and Kaia Blake, have absolutely stolen their hearts and they love spoiling them and spending time with them.

Jimbo and his wife Kerry have served Azalea City as the LEAD campus parents since 2021, but have been attending Azalea City since 2007. Earning his BS degree in Christian Counseling from Lee University adds to his commitment of discipleship to the Azalea City congregation and the community outside its doors. Jimbo and Kerry have five children: Rachel, who is married to Cody; Tyler, Ryan, Hunner, who is married to Blaire; and Summer, along with two grandchildren, Parker and Tate.

Matt has served Azalea City Church of God since March 2016. After beginning his education at Valdosta State University, he graduated with a BA in Music - Voice Emphasis from Emmanuel College. Matt married his amazing wife, Jessie, in December of 2012. They have a full-of-life son, Elijah. Matt and Jessie also help to organize and lead our Missions Team to the Dominican Republic every year.

Caleb, originally from East Tennessee, began an internship at Azalea City in early 2017 that lead him into joining our staff as the Media Pastor. In 2020 he married his wife, Kristen, and together they help launch LEAD South Georgia. In 2022, Caleb transitioned into the role of Young Adults Pastor. He is passionate about mentoring, training, and developing the next generation of leaders for the Kingdom. Caleb loves coffee, puzzles, movies, and afternoon naps!

Tonya has been a faithful member of Azalea City since 2013 and joined our staff in the summer of 2021 as our Administrative Assistant/Treasurer.  From over 20 years in the business world, she brings a great dynamic to the table as she serves the staff and members of Azalea City.  She is happily married to Gerald, and the proud mom of her two children, Tanner and Jordan. Tonya enjoys anything that allows here to spend time with her family!

Born and raised in Valdosta, Kristen has attended Azalea City since 2002. She has served as a faithful volunteer in Children's Ministry, as well as in other areas of need. After working as a Dental Hygienist for 18 years, she joined the staff in May of 2021 as the Administrative Director for LEAD South Georgia. She and her husband, Caleb, also pastor the Young Adult Ministry. Kristen loves event planning & building community!

Pastor Donnie is a lifelong Lowndes County native who grew up in Azalea City. He and his family began attending the church when he was 3 years old. He met the love of his life, Sarah, in middle school. They graduated from Lowndes High School together in 2005 and were married in 2009. They have 3 beautiful kids, Lillie, Saylor, and Barrett, and a goldendoodle named Bella!

Donnie is a 2007 graduate from Georgia Military College and has a degree in Business Management. He is an avid fisherman and loves the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. Sarah is a master cosmetologist who owns a hair salon in Valdosta. She is passionate about all things related to hair and make-up! Donnie and Sarah have been doing ministry together since 2007. Over the years, they have served in children, youth, college, and worship ministry. Donnie was hired as the College Pastor in August 2016 and became the Ray City Campus Pastor in January 2021. He and Sarah have a passion for worship, and love helping people grow.

“I believe God has placed us in Ray City to bring to this community the same things we feel every Sunday in Valdosta. The undeniable presence of God, a sense of family and purpose amongst our church body, and a place where people can connect and grow while doing life together” says Pastor Donnie.

Blaire has been part of Azalea City since 2007. She has a passion for music, people and worship. For ten years Blaire had the opportunity to develop her gifts by being an active member of our choir and praise team. She also played leadership roles in our youth and college ministries during this time, helping her grow in confidence as she lead her peers in worship. Along with her husband Hunner, Blaire joined our staff in January 2021.

Micah first felt the call into ministry at 17 years old. He is currently attending Lee University Online to earn an Associates Degree in Christian Ministries. He is passionate about God's Word being lived out in the lives of those around him.

Blake is a Valdosta local and is proud to call Azalea City his home! While always having a heart for serving, he walked into his calling through worship ministry at age 19. He is passionate about the Lord, music, and of course, Georgia sports!

Tyler comes from Seymour, TN. After serving in Children's Ministry at his previous church for years, Tyler answered the call to ministry. He is passionate about sports, photography, and creating an exciting space for kid's to learn about God!
